Antonio Resendez

He was preceded in death by his wife, Angelina Sanchez Resendez.

He is survived by his son, Joey Resendez and wife, Elaine; three grandchildren, Tony Resendez and wife, Tammy, Joanna Urea and husband, Daniel, and Deanna Tanguma and husband, Xavier; three step grandchildren, Eric Aranda and wife, Kim, Marc Aranda and wife, Christa and Andre Aranda; and nine great-grandchildren and six step great--grandchildren, Dariann, Ryan, Raven, Jacob, Devorah, Devin, Bryce, Zachary, Madisyn, Tori, Luke, Luci, Felicity, Destiny, and Nicholas.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 30, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, with recitation of the holy rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 31, 2012 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 10,000 David Moore Drive. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Funeral reception will follow in the Grace Hall of St. Paul Catholic Church.

Honoring Mr. Resendez as pallbearers will be Joey Resendez, Tony Resendez, Nick Resendez, Roman Resendez, Daniel Urea, and Xavier Tanguma.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rich Martinez, Jacob Urea, Devin Urea, Bryce Tanguma, Zachary Tanguma, Luke Aranda, Nicholas Aranda and Ryan Resendez.

The family would like to thank Dr. Perez and Joanna Garcia and to the Hospice staff nurses, Cherrie and Amy for their tremendous moral support and compassion. Most importantly, to the most compassionate, understanding and loving care provided from Rich Martinez, LVN and Caregiver.
