

Arthur was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Satterly, and his son, Randy D. Hunter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Bobbie Jo Hunter. Surviving children: son, JR Hunter with his daughters, Bobbie Jean Hunter and Christine R. Van Eck; son, Daniel W. Hunter with his wife, Hillary A. and sons, Jackson B. and Harrison W. Hunter; son, David A. Hunter; daughter, Goldina R. (Hunter) Kennedy with her husband, Russell and children, Arthur F. Smith, Anna E., Abigail R., Miles (Buzz) Owen; and great-granddaughter, Jazmin E. Houston; and daughter, Laura Mae Hunter.
Arthur served our country for 20 years and 20 days in the United States Air Force. His career after the Air Force included working as an electrician and mechanic. Arthur was a firm, but loving father and grandfather. For many years Arthur enjoyed his hobby of restoring classic cars and winning many trophies in car shows. His greatest pleasure was spending time traveling around in the RV with his wife and friends.
The family expresses its gratitude to everyone for their prayers, support, and love that has helped to endure this heartbreaking time.

The family will receive friends at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Graveside Service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
