B. McCord Young

B McCord Young was born March 27, 1918 in Williamson County to Beulah Allen McCord and William Harvey McCord and died October 24, 2003 in Austin. B married William Lee Young in 1936, a marriage that produced two children. They lived in Moulton, Texas many years and left many friends when they moved to Austin in 1999. B loved her family and friends, her church, books and working crossword puzzles in pen, most recently with her dear friend Frances. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brothers Ernest and Warren Harold McCord. She is survived by a son, John Young and wife Bernadette (Dusty); daughter, Sandra Kaiser and husband Wayne; grandchildren, Amanda Young, Barry Young, Mark Kaiser, Casey Kaiser Green and husband Keith; great-grandson, Christopher William Green; her brother and sister-in-law, Norris and Helen McCord; her sister, Bobby Greenhaw, many nieces and nephews and many friends who will remember her for her humor and wit. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 26 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, October 27, 2003 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lawhon Springs Cemetery near Elgin, with Pastor Magdalene Holm-Roesler officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, P. O.
