She loved Jesus.
She loved one man, Dennis Hanson, her devoted husband of more than fifty-eight years.
She loved her son and daughter-in-law Chris and Heather Hanson.
She loved her daughter and son-in-law Laurel and Guy Schlueder.
She loved and was very proud of her grandchildren Conner, Alec, Emily, and Luke, and of her great grandchildren: Sibyl, Braylee, Macey, Kailor, and Berkley.
She loved a best bud of nearly twenty years, Judy Huppert.
She loved a little yorkie dog named Remmie.
She loved her parents and three siblings and their families.
She loved a host of “other” daughters and sons of the heart, adopting her children’s friends as her own children.
As deeply as Barbara loved, she will continue to be loved by her family and friends and remembered for her kindness.
Barbara Hanson passed peacefully on April 5, 2022, with hands laid upon her by her husband, son, daughter, and best friend.
Barbara’s life will be celebrated Friday, April 29th at 10:00 am in the cremation garden at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Memorial Park in Oak Hill.
