

Bejay was born in Kansas City, Missouri and passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 in Austin, Texas. She was the daughter of Adelaide Giles McNabb and John E McNabb. Preceding her in death were her parents, Larry Kremer, her husband of 60 years, son Charles Kremer, and brother John McNabb.
Larry and Bejay lived in Dallas 34 years where they raised their family and moved to Austin after his retirement from The Dallas Morning News.
She leaves two sons and a daughter; Larry, his wife Margie of The Woodlands, their three children and three grandchildren; Jeff, his wife Dana of Dallas and their two children; and Tracy of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Bejay was active in many organizations including Dallas County Heritage Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, Zeta Tau Alpha Almanac and University of Texas Exes Advisory Council. She was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.
She took great pleasure in her family and friends, traveling the world with Larry, sailing, golf, and Bridge.
A wake and reception will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Onion Creek Country Club.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Friends of the McDonald Observatory of University of Texas, 3640 Dark Sky Drive, McDonald Observatory, Texas 79734, or the Clan McNab Society of North America, 2835 Frisco Peaks, Prescott, Arizona.
