Benjamin Felipe Garcia (Benny) age 39 passed away on Sunday, May 7th doing what he loved best. He was born in Houston, Texas on April 22, 1984, but moved to Austin at a very young age. He had just celebrated his 39th birthday surrounded by friends and family. He left us just two weeks later to reunite with his mother, Teri Ann Garcia in heaven. Benny was a loving father, husband, son, brother, and tio. He was a hard worker and made sure his family was always well taken care of.
Benny finally married the love of his life, Jennifer Norng in an intimate ceremony in front of their two loving children, Jacob and Lily Garcia on October 1st. Jennifer and Benny were together for over 20 years and were instant soulmates who had a deep love for one another.
Benny was the life of the party and had an infectious smile, wherever he was people were not far behind ready to be surrounded by his presence. Although he enjoyed giving people a hard time, he would be there at the drop of a dime to help any of the people he loved.
He loved riding his bike whenever he was off on the weekends and enjoyed riding with his dad, his Brother-in-law Mark Castillo, and his Tio Javi. On occasion, he would include his sister Jaime and wife Jennifer to ride along with the boys. When Benny wasn’t riding, he enjoyed spending time on the land with his pops Benjamin Garcia (Big Ben) and his Tio Javi or in his garage playing music and drinking a cold one surrounded by his family and friends.
Benny was preceded in death by his mother, Teri Ann Garcia, and Grandmother, Leslie Robbins. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Garcia, his two kids Lily and Jacob Garcia, his father Benjamin Garcia, his sisters Jaime, (Mark) Castillo, Kristen Garcia, and Alyssa Garcia, brother Eric, (Patricia) Garcia and his Grandparents, Harold Robbins, Felipe Garcia Ramos, Benita Rebolloso Mexquitic as well as many nieces, nephews cousins, Tios, Tias and friends.
A memorial celebrating his life will be held at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home on Friday, May 26th at 2 o’clock followed by a reception at Buda United Methodist Church Hall, 302 Elm St. Buda, Texas 78610.
