

Beth Pargaman (Beth Nell Arnold) passed away December 30, 2007. Born and raised in Galveston, Texas, Beth attended Ursaline Academy, Ball High School, and Lamar University. In 1943 she married Dick Arnold and gave birth to her first two daughters in Galveston. The family then moved to Port Arthur, Texas, where she raised her daughters with love and devotion. Beth had a full and giving life, with family always at the forefront of her thoughts and hopes. Her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her universe alongside her faith in God. Beth was an intelligent, poised, strong, and beautiful woman. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Beach, and sisters, Ethel Glaviana and Hilda McLaren. Her loving immediate family includes her husband, Warren Pargaman, and her four daughters, Charlene Arnold, Jay Arnold, Pam Arnold Zoller, and Dickie Hargrave. Beths grandchildren are Trey and Kelly Stilwell, Kasey Anne Barker, and Misty and Robin Mitchell. Her great-grandchildren are Taylor and Sydney Stilwell and Daniel, Jonathan, and Jordyn Barker. Beth had a special love for Gary Mitchell, Jim Hargrave, Kim Stilwell, and Father John Payne. Other significant family members are Mischelle Davenport, Mark Carpenter, Daron Barker, Genie Hargrave, and Manfred Zoller. One of the blessings Beth and Warren treasured was their grandchildren, Jennie, Katie, and Julie Arnold and Elizabeth and Kate Pargaman. Her family will cherish her memory forever.`` Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 4311 Small Drive.
