
I have just discovered this website and I miss you so much Bee. I remember how Bee would always smile and laugh all the time! One of my favorite memories is when Bee would always play cards with me no matter how many times! I also remember when Bee would watch me do tricks in the pool... even if they were not that amazing. I will miss her but she will always be in my heart. I love you very much.

Bettie Jane.  When I think of her name I think of laughter, the laughter of a woman who loved life and lived it to the the fullest.  I know that she loved her family more than life itself.    We are all richer for having her in our lives and I will miss her dearly.  She was more like a sister than an aunt to me.  She was always Bettie Jane, not Aunt Bettie Jane, and of course, Al is not Uncle Al.  He is simply Al.  My prayers go out to the whole family, and though we shed tears in our loss, we can rejoice in knowing that she is in Heaven with all her loved ones that have gone ahead and that one day we will embrace each other and share that laughter again.



Dear Pam,    I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I remember many enjoyable times at your house as kids. She was a fun person to be around. Please know that my prayers are with you, Trey and your dad.    Leigh



Al,    Ann and I wish to express our condolences for your loss.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Bettie was a delight to be around.  We will miss her at our annual Bar-B-Q in Rollingwood.  We send our condolences to Al and the rest of her family.

Aunt Bettie Jane,    I am going to miss you terribly,but I will always treasure our times together in person and our numerous phone chats.    I keep thinking back to all the things you did for all the cousins when we were little- the Halloween party,helping to entertain me when Martha was born, and your wedding to Uncle Al.     I still laugh when I think about us having to get up and move seats at the Summer Musicals after Robbie seated us up close and then the rightful owners  of the seats showed up. I will never forget how you were there for Martha and me when Mama was sick. You have always been there for both of us through good times and bad. Our telephone chats got me through a lot. So many good times. I'm sure there is rejoicing in heaven now that you are there with Mama, Grandma and everyone else... probably playing dominoes.    I know you are catching everyone up with all the news here and will continue to look down on all of us here.    Thanks again for always being there for Martha and me. Aunt Bettie Jane,    Love you Aunt Bettie Jane! We will miss you so much. We were always close to you, but even more so since Mama has been gone. You really became a second mother to us. You have always been there for us throughout our lives, and have been a wonderful aunt and mother. Thank you for everything!I know that you are having a reunion with all of the Holts'. What a party that must be! If anyone ever personified fun-it's you!    I'll miss our visits, lunches, outings to Breeds & Amy's, and all of those treasured phone calls. You have been such a major part of our lives, and so loved by us.     You and Uncle Al will always be the young aunt and uncle to me. I so appreciate what a blessing you all have been.
