Aunty Betty was my Great Aunty; sister of my Grandfather.  I'm sorry we never got to meet but my parents and Aunty Betty spoke often by phone and always kept in touch.

Betty, on your 1st anniversary,  still think a lot about you, you left prints on my heart. 

Betty was an amazing women. She enjoyed and loved life and she would never show her pains. Alway's willing to give and if she would get upset with you, she would say "Bugger off" She had special people in her life, her sisters and their family, Ingrid, the Hamilton family. She alway's referred to me as her friend. One of the greatest things to her was that she had become a great Grandma, little Levi made her day, unfortunately she never had a chance to meet Ace and Maverick.
I'm so great-full that I was  her caregivers  for 6 years, she left a print on my heart.
Your home now, no more pain.

Always loved Betty's English accent...

Her and Hal were lovely neighbors for many years.  

Loved how Maria & Joe Hamilton and sons always loved her so well with family dinners to celebrate the holidays and birthdays and more.  Maria kept us up to date when she regularly visited Betty through the years as her health declined.

I will forever cherish the moments I spent with Betty. I’ve known her since May and she became a good friend and grand part of my life.  I always looked forward to our talks and laughs over coffee. 

She was an amazing and caring woman, resilient and so fun.  Without realizing it, she taught me so much about life. 

I’m so glad there is no more pain but I will forever miss you Betty. It was an honor to get to know you. I promise I’ll never forget you or the time we shared.

Betty was my younger sister and was very much loved and we would speak on the phone as often as we could.
Betty was full of life, outgoing, good company and would be happy to sit and chat over a VAT.
In her younger years she would love to party, go to bingo and enjoy her trips to Vegas where the slot machines were well exercised.
We all looked forward to her trips to the UK where she tried to visit all of her relatives in England and Wales. She always had a smile on her face.
It was sad to see Betty’s health fail her but we were heartened to see the love and care that the Austin team gave to her.
She has now gone to a better place where she is at peace and pain free.
Much love to Betty where she will never be forgotten by me or her two nieces, Lynsay and Caroline

You embraced every moment of my life.

I grew up seeing you through the small, yellow boxes of Milk Duds on Halloween and in the familial comfort of holiday dinners. Your warm but cheeky humor filled both the small, quiet spaces of our living room and the loud and joyous rows of the Bingo Hall. 

It is in these moments that I remember you best –your love, bright and kind, radiating in eternal hues.

You left an indelible mark on my heart and humor. That had always been your special nature; that, more than anything, is why I loved you.

Here’s to finding you not simply in memory, but in presence.

I'm Michelle the eldest Daughter of Auntie Bettys youngest sister Ethel who is now 85 and resides in a dementia home but i know she would like to send her condolences to her sister who she spent many summer's with when Betty came to visit . I know she missed her and they rang each other every Sunday. Aunty Betty was a lovely lady who enjoyed every minute. Liked a tipple and a bet on the horse racing that we took her to when over in Chester.  May you rest in peace Auntie Betty xxxx

My family lived across the street from Betty and Hal Bell when we first moved to Austin in 1989,  Betty was the first neighbor we met in our little cul de sac.  She has been a dear friend ever since.  

Our two sons Matthew and Ethan Hamilton have called her Nana since they were born.  She has watched them grow into young men and they have never failed to come visit her when they were in town.  She was always a big part of their lives.  We will miss spending Thanksgivings and Christmas holidays with you.  We had some great laughs and wonderful conversations over our diner table.  

Betty I know you are in a better place now.  I just wanted to say thank you for all the many, many years you have been part of our family.  We have always loved you and continue to do so.
