Beverly was born on November 4, 1939 in Arp, Texas. Her parents, Hiram and Melba Cole were devoted to their only daughter, Beverly and sons, Michael and Jerry. She graduated from Arp High School where she was elected class favorite, homecoming queen and FFA sweetheart. She attended Tyler Junior College where she was a member of the prestigious Apache Belles. She met her husband Jerry Nickens in Tyler and they married in Arp on April 1, 1961. They honeymooned in Las Vegas with the likes of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra; yes, it was the best of times!
Jerry's positions with the Kraft Corporation afforded them the opportunity to travel extensively and see the world. Beverly's greatest accomplishment was her love and devotion to her family and many friends. Well known as “Honey Bee”, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. It seems all Beverly touched burst forth with life. She had passion for making her surroundings beautiful. She designed and decorated with great enthusiasm, and was very proud of her elegant home. She remained stunningly beautiful even in her final days.
Beverly and Jerry are members of Riverbend Church. Beverly was also active in the Austin Country Club Women's Association where she loved playing bridge and rummy cube.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jerry Nickens and children Melissa Ann Moze and husband Mark, Christopher Scott Nickens and wife Laura. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Margaux Christina Moze, Millar Randall Moze, Prestwick Ray Nickens, Jillian Marie Nickens, and Polly Tess Nickens, brother Jerry Cole of Tyler, uncle and aunt Ed and Gwen Cole of Nacogdoches.
Beverly is preceded in death by her son Randall Ray Nickens, parents Hiram and Melba Cole and brother Mike Cole.

It is only fitting that she passes as she lived; beautiful, beloved by her family and cherished by friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Austin Hospice, 4107 Spicewood Springs Road, Suite 100, Austin, Texas, 78759.
