Billie Ward was born in Fletcher, Oklahoma on November 3, 1925. After completing his service in the Army during WWII, he met and married the love of his life, Jean McDonald, in Edinburgh, Scotland. They returned home to Wichita, Kansas where they raised their family of 3 children. After several moves across Kansas and Texas, they settled in Austin.
When Billie retired from Page Southerland Page, he moved with Jean “to the lake” on Lake LBJ to enjoy their retirement years. Billie worked hard, fished long, and laughed often during his life. He passed away on August 9, 2014 at Hearthstone Senior Care in Round Rock and will be missed by many friends and family.
Billie is preceded in death by his wife, Jean. He is survived by his daughter Judy LeBoeuf and her husband Paul, of San Antonio, his daughter Barbara (Bobbi) Patterson and her husband Gary, of Austin, his son, Bill Ward of Naalehu, Hawaii, his sister, Metha Flo Hardesty and her husband Bob of Tucson, Arizona and numerous precious and loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A private service and scattering of ashes will be held by the family.
