She was born on June 22,1929 in Barisciano Italy, daughter of Vincenzo and Ersilia Panone.
When she was eight she arrived in America with her mother and brother, Rudio, and took a slow train to Clymer PA where her father worked in the coal mines. In 1952 her neighbors introduced her to Armondo Giordani whom she married within a year. They have been together ever since and would have celebrated their 62nd anniversary in June.
Bordina is survived by her husband, Armondo, and five children; Marianne, Pauline, William, Roseanne and Lisa Marie and three grandchildren; Angela, David and Madelyn.
She will be laid to rest after a small private viewing and service Sunday, May 4th, at Weed-Corley-Fish North Funeral Home, 3125 North Lamar Blvd., Austin TX 78705
