Carlos Luis Monet Sr. of Bastrop, Texas passed away on September 4th, 2024, at 79. They were born on January 17, 1945, in Flushing, New York where they grew up and graduated from Flushing High School in Flushing, New York in 1962.
He worked as a Jet Engine Technician and retired after 21 years in the Air Force. He was actively involved in living a retired lifestyle and keeping up with Veterans Affairs as he was proud of his service in the Air Force and the accomplishments he earned along the way.
He is preceded in death by his father Domingo, Mother Aida, and son Carlos Jr.
He is survived by their Wife, Gail of 54 years, Daughter Aida, son-in-law Richard, Grandsons Shawn, Timothy and his wife Jessica, and their three children Karime, Benjamin, and Alexander.
The family would like to thank Dell Seaton in Austin and the wonderful nurses and doctors for the care and compassion they showed our loved ones in their final days.
