She is survived by her sons Charles (Chip) Moore III, Christopher Moore, and Carl (Adrienne) Moore, sister Sally (Richard) Figge, grandchildren Angelica, Elizabeth, Dean, and Salym, great-grandchildren, Cove and Emily and her niece Ann Marie. Also numerous cousins who were her extended family, Carol attended Good Counsel High School in Chicago and graduated in 1966. She later graduated from College of Lake County.
Carol loved her family deeply even when she couldn't be close to them. She spent many years raising her 3 boys joining them in their many activities. She was a boy scout leader while they were in scouts. She did many odd jobs like babysitting. Then she worked as an insurance claims adjuster.
Carol played basketball for her grade school and also loved to ride horses when she was younger. She loved sewing, making many garments for family and friends. She also loved gardening, animals, her vast collection of nutcrackers, and Elvis. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and participated in a bowling league for many years. Most of all she treasured time with her family, especially her sons.
Carol moved to Texas in 2021 to be closer to her sister, Sally. She lived at Brookdale South for 4years where she was well liked and made many friends. She became president of the residents council and called bingo for many years. She could be seen walking her two beloved dogs, Murphy and Pumpkin, stopping many times for the residents to pet her babies. There was not one resident who didn't know Carol's love for purple and Elvis and the fact that she was 19 ¼ years old (leap year baby).
