She attended Baylor University and then moved to Austin where she has been a resident for over 60 years. Carolyn was very active in Hyde Park Baptist church and was a volunteer at Seton Hospital for over 40 years, and also volunteered at the Heart Hospital. She enjoyed needle work, sewing, and watching the Lady Longhorns Basketball team. Carolyn always had her home, heart and arms open for anyone in need. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her sons, Stephen and James Peck and sister Mary Charles Williams.
She is survived by her husband Dr. Charles Russell Peck, son; David Peck and wife Kate, daughter-in-law Marti Peck, grandchildren; Kawin, Kendall, and Dustin, great-grandchildren; Jemaya, Jerome, Julian, Rhianon, Sydney, and Jerimiah, and her niece Meredith Parker.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 16, in the chapel of Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. A private interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
