She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Garnet F. Cannon; three brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond Cannon and wife, Viki; Richard Cannon, Sr. and wife, Mary and daughter, Janice Spinks; eight grandchildren and their spouses; 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2012 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Reverend Phillip Stevens of Onion Creek Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
Honoring Catherine as pallbearers will be her grandsons, David Spinks, Carl Spinks, Ronnie O’Neil, Richard Cannon, Jr., Keith Cannon, Carl Graves, and Scott Mitzel.
