Cathie Patcheck Wilson Cathie Patcheck Wilson was called home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2004 after a valiant fight with colon cancer. Cathie Patcheck Wilson was born on March 29, 1958 in Durango, Colorado to Bob and Georgia Patcheck. She graduated from Cortez High School and Fort Lewis College with a degree in Elementary Education. Cathie taught elementary school in many states for 21 years most recently in Nampa, Idaho where she taught for the last 7 years. Cathie was very active in her church and her children’s activities. She had a big heart and lived for her family and friends. Everyone was blessed with the time they had with Cathie albeit much too short. Cathie is survived by her husband Jim, sons Patrick and Kevin of Austin; mother Georgia Patcheck of Durango, Colorado; sister Cindy Morgan and husband Reed of Austin, brother Robert Patcheck and wife Renee of Lubbock; brother Michael Patcheck and wife Jodi of Durango; and 7 nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. Cathie is preceeded in death by her father Bob Patcheck; infant brother Scotty and grandparents Herman and Louise Patcheck. A memorial service will be held on Monday October 4, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 3701 West Slaughter Lane. An additional memorial service will be held in Nampa, Idaho on Thursday, October 7, 2004, at the First Christian Church on 12th Street at 4:30 pm Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church and/or Vistacare Hospice, 7800 Shoal Creek Blvd., Austin, Texas 78757.
