On Thursday, October 8, 2020, Charles (Chuck) S. Stewart Jr, loving husband and father of three beloved children, passed away from cancer at the age of 51. He is survived by his beloved parents Charles and Kathleen Stewart of Grayslake, IL, his loved brother Eric, his cherished wife Beth, and his adored children Brittany, Andrew (Drew) and Kara. He was a favorite of his loved dog, Bella, and bird, Austin.
Chuck achieved many successes in his life. In middle school he earned his Eagle Scout rank. After graduating from Carmel High School, he first attained an Aeronautical Engineering degree from Illinois Institute of Technology and then joined the Navy where he served as a submarine officer on the USS Tennessee. After his naval service, he then attained a Masters of Business degree from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Business in 1999.
Chuck's greatest successes, though, were marrying Beth Ramey and being a dad to their amazing children. They were always his first priority and he loved traveling and exploring new places with them including living and working in London.
After family, Chuck was passionate about his work. He worked at Bain & Company in Chicago, Dell Technologies, and, over the past thirteen years, Asurion. Chuck treasured the relationships he was able to create throughout the world, while always maintaining a positive attitude and striving to improve each company.
He will be deeply missed by all of his family and many friends.
Private funeral will be October 29 at 11am CDT. This will be live streamed at: https://vimeo.com/471573099/e77343d0b9
In lieu of flowers, Chuck would love the following charities to be supported.
SAGE Patient Advocates were crucial in getting Chuck the best treatment possible. It was very important to Chuck that SAGE was on the list because they are a small non profit that operates solely from donations.
