Christopher James Hughes

Christopher is preceded in death by his mother, Victoria Shamas Hughes and mother-in-law, Burniss Ann Richter. He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Hughes; son, Dustin Hughes; father, Steve Hughes; brother, Joshua Hughes and wife, Veronica and their children, Caleb and Benjamine; sister, Stephanie Huston and husband, Kent and their children; sister, Amanda Hughes and her children; brother, Craig Hughes and wife LuAnn and their daughter; uncle, Barry Shamas and wife, Donna and their daughter, Jennifer; aunt, Elaine Shamas Emeigh and husband, Bill and their children, B.J. and Kevin; father-in-law, Francis Leroy Richter; brother-in-law, William Anthony Richter; and sister-in-law, Toni Lynn Shade; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2011 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with a Trisagion Service at 7:45 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2011 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with The Very Rev. David Barr officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
