After attending high school in Round Rock, Texas Christopher worked various jobs where he loved learning to operate different types of equipment - heavy equipment being his favorite, of course.
He is survived by his mother, Jackie Ramirez; step-father, Gene Wermes; father, Juan Ramirez III; sister, Shelbi Ramirez; and brother, John Ramirez.
Aunts and Uncles: John and Cecilia Parker, David and Teresa Ramirez, Rosy Scamehorn, Kay Sconci and Jeff Schreiner, Cindy Simer, Jack Norman and Eric Salazar, Jodi and Kenneth Ray, Brenda and Nick Gassett.
Cousins: Way too numerous to list but they all loved him dearly. He was just that kind of a guy.
Chris was very passionate about his motorcycle, loved extreme running/hiking, techno music, and was quite the ladies' man. He was pretty handsome...
Chris was a kind and fun-loving person. He was taught to respect all, be protective (Devon!), not to be judgmental, and to be friends with all people. This was all too evident during his stint in the hospital, how he truly took that to heart, as the numerous and very diverse friends continued to pour in.
Chris had the biggest, warmest smile that was sometimes a little goofy too. Anyone who talks about Chris will tell you what a respectful, hard-working young man he was. You will also hear about his wonderful smile, and what a jokester he was as well. He was always good for a smile and a laugh. We will miss his warm and loving heart, those beautiful eyes, that wonderful, beautiful, silly, goofy smile, and that laugh that was just like his smile.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar Blvd.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at South Austin Church of the Nazarene, 6711 Manchaca Road in Austin.
