

Christopher Ray Saucedo, beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend to many passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the age of 21. Christopher was born in Austin, Texas on the 13th of May 1993.
Christopher had a large circle of friends and touched many lives in a lasting way. Growing up in Austin, he graduated in the 2011 class of Austin High School. Christopher played the trumpet in honors and jazz band and later in the marching band at Austin High. A young man of many interests, he enjoyed riding his BMX bike, playing paint ball and learning martial arts. He also had a sensitive artistic side expressed through writing music, playing numerous musical instruments and creating visual art. Christopher overcame an early fear of animals to love many pets adopted from shelters and rescue organizations.
Christopher’s greatest legacy is his devotion and commitment to family and friends, his genuine warmth, love of life, and cheerful nature that endeared him to all those lucky enough to know him. He brought a positive energy and sense of fun to whatever he was doing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Saucedo.
He is survived by his mother, Vickie Saucedo; his brother, Clay Saucedo; sister, Portia Saucedo; grandparents, Clayton and Ewalda Willis and Consuelo Saucedo; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A celebration of Christopher’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home located at 6300 W. William Cannon Dr., Austin, Texas 78749.
