Clarence Monte Anderson, 64, of Austin, passed away on May 17, 2016. He was born in Austin, TX on August 28, 1951, son of Clarence and Jean Anderson. Monte graduated from Lanier High School in 1969 and attended college in San Marcos. He spent his career as a Master Plumber prior to retirement. He was interested in reading the bible, cars and car shows, arts and crafts, trade shows and traveling. He loved his family and friends above all else.
Monte is survived by his two sons and daughter, Randall Anderson his wife Erica and grand-daughter Gracie Leigh of Manor, Shane Anderson and grand-son Ashton of Austin, and Tori Anderson of Ruther Glen, Virginia; Sister Bonnie Simms; Niece Kimberly Barnett, her husband James Oliver and daughter Sarah Jean; Nephew Kevin Barnett, his wife Paige and daughter Cassidy; life-long love Donna Collins, her son Andy Smith and father Richard Stathos. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Jean Anderson.
Visitation is from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday May 22, 2016 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar Blvd.
Funeral services are at 2:00 p.m. on Monday May 23, 2016 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel, followed by a graveside service at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville. Any floral arrangements may be sent to Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home on N. Lamar in Austin.
