

He is preceded in death by parent, Leo and Emma Amaro; spouse, Paul T. Amaro; daughter, Emma Cortez and Paula Ann Amaro.
Claude is survived by his children, Claude Amaro, Jr., Joanne Amaro, Michael Amaro, Leo Milton Amaro; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Honoring Claude and serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Amaro, Christian Amaro, Jonathan Amaro, Claude Amaro III, Mario Antonio Olvera and Felix Cortez.
Visitation 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Graveside Service 10:00 am on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Assumption Cemetery.
Currently, due to the substantial public risk, city and state government mandates that social gatherings of limited amounts may occur with strict social distancing protocol. Current COVID protocols for Travis County, guests must wear protective masks at all times while inside the funeral home facility and practice the recommended six foot social distancing.
