David was in the biggest battle of his life fighting Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He survived 6 ½ months after diagnosis. “Sir”, as he was affectionately called by those who loved and respected him, especially his sons, was not going to let this disease beat him and he never did. He fought to the bitter end.
David was preceded in death by his father, Robert Cheung of Houston, his mother Kim Po Woo Cheung of Houston, and his sister Linda Woo of Houston.
David is survived by his loving and devoted wife Jeannie Nicklos Cheung, and his two sons Mitchell David Cheung and Ethan Kyle Cheung. He also has many brothers and sisters, brothers in law an sisters in law.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, Dec 21st at 11:00am at The Quarries Church (Hyde Park High School), 11400 N Mopac Expy, Austin, TX 78759.
The family requests that all who attend wear red in honor of David and his favorite color.
