

David Lee Knaggs, 32, passed on December 20th at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston after a long battle with acute Leukemia. David graduated from McCallum High School and earned degrees in English and Government from the University of Texas in Austin. He was certified as a secondary teacher. He was a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity, and a Life Member of the Texas Exes. He was most recently employed as a technical writer for Cisco Systems in Austin. David is survived by his wife Rhiannon and daughter Isabella; his parents, John and Helen Knaggs, Joan Knaggs and William Ribbel of Austin, TX; Rhiannons mother and father, John and Cherry Owen of Balsall Common, England; a sister, Lisa, of DelNorte, CO.; a brother, Ryan Knaggs and wife Courtney, of Fairfield, CT.; another brother, Barton Knaggs and wife Barbara, of Austin, TX.; and nieces, Samantha Barret, Frances Ann and Caroline Lee, of Austin, TX.; and his sister-in-law, Sian Owen, of Stratford-Upon-Avon, England. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 29th at 11:00 a.m., at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, 4801 LaCrosse Avenue.
