David Allen Peevey, age 63, of Austin passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 26, 2008. He was born on December 15, 1944. He graduated in 1963 from Waco High School. David was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1971. He ecstatically retired from A T & T on July 30, 2007. David's favorite hobby was bass fishing and helping anyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ella Mae Peevey; father-in-law, Arthur W. Staas. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donette Staas Peevey; sons, Mark Allen Peevey and wife, Mairin, Trevor Lee Peevey and wife, Sheila; five grandchildren, Dylan Decker, Lily Peevey, Tatum Peevey, Tristan Peevey, Hunter Peevey; two sisters, Marilyn Michalka and husband, Paul, JoAnn Rawlinson; two brothers, George Peevey and wife, Darla, Arthur Peevey and wife Regina; seven nieces, seven nephews; mother-in-law, Viola A. Staas; brother-in-law, Daron Staas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, August 29, 2008 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at Robinson Cemetery, Waco, Texas.
