Dennis Christopher Furner

Dennis had a love for music and enjoyed playing piano, keyboard, drums, guitar, bass, violin and harmonica. He played with various groups in the area. He was interested in gardening, organic foods and environmental studies. He also enjoyed camping and had traveled to many state parks in Texas and Colorado. His favorite parks were Big Bend National Park, Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon.

Dennis is survived by his mother, Margaret Bryant; his father, Chris Furner; his grandparents, Edward and Juanita Furner of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and Stella Bryant of Austin as well as numerous other family members.

Memorial Services will be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 24th of March 2012, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.
