Dianna was born on August 19, 1986 in Bryn Mawr, PA to Eileen and Gary Houck. When she was two years old, her family moved to Austin, where she and her brother Jason grew up.
She had a passion for and understanding of nature and all animals - from the smallest insect to the largest lion. She had a special love for and deep connection to horses and dogs. She enjoyed training horses, grooming dogs, and she would always take in a stray.
Dianna passed away after a lengthy illness. She was a teacher of kindness and love and will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Eileen Houck, her father, Gary Houck, and his wife, Helen Hall, her brother, Jason Houck, her grandmother, Phyllis Houck, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A visitation to celebrate Dianna’s life will be held in the chapel at Unity Church of the Hills, 9905 Anderson Mill Rd. Austin, TX 78750, from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23. All are welcome to attend.
