

Born in Austin, Texas on December 22, 1929, Dorothy was the beloved daughter of Oswald Fucles and Onderee Herring. She attended schools in the Austin Public School District and graduated from L.C. Anderson High School. She retired from 3M Company after many dedicated years of service.
Dorothy lived a life full of grace, compassion, and unwavering faith. Throughout her life, Dorothy touched the hearts of many with her kindness and generosity. She was a dedicated member of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Round Rock, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Michael Oyedokun, II.
She was a wonderful cook, known for her elaborate holiday spreads of food that included cookies, cakes, pies and more. It was a tradition that she instilled in her children that they still carry on to this day. She also loved to dance, especially to blues music. Just the same, she enjoyed quilting, sewing and she loved flowers. Her kind heart was evident in every gesture, and her children were her world!
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Anthony Daniel, and her two grandsons, Matthew Daniel and Jared Brown.
She is survived by her children, Sherrie Watrous, Gary Daniel (Chizuru), Stanley Daniel (Lois), Michael Daniel and Shelia Brown; her sisters, Patricia Fucles of New Braunfels, TX, Joan Fucles-Bryant (James) of San Marcos, TX, and Virginia Fucles-Ned of San Antonio, TX. She also leaves to cherish her memory four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of friends and family. Her legacy of love and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.
