
Our prayers and thoughts go out to the Goldstein family.  Marty was Ronny's security supervisor for some time.  We are sorry for the loss of your dad.  May he rest in peace.



I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Earl.  It was always a pleasure to see him at our shows.  The entire Melissa Sellers Band sends their thoughts and prayers to Mr. Earl's family.

In 2002 at Christmas, I came to Austin to visit Ronny and Wanda.  We all went out to dinner & I met alot of the family, especially Earl and Kay.  It was like a big home coming since I'm from such a large family, also.  I will sure miss his joking around.  Without Him, Ronny would not be in our family. I wish my Son's and Family could  have met him too.  I sure did like his cooking the turkey & dressing, it tasted like my Mom used to make at Christmas. I'll also miss his ham & beans this coming Holiday.  I have enjoyed each yearly visit since & will miss talking to him when I come again to Austin.



May God take your family in his arms and hold you close through your pain.  You all are in our thoughts and prayers.



Kay  God bless you and the family.    I met Earl in Oct.1963 He soon became my friend and teacher. He more than any one is responsible for my development as a mechanic.     Earl and Kay welcomed me in to their heart's and their home and treated me as one of their own for the last 42 year's. For their love and friendship I will be forever grateful. I had the pleasure of taking care of Earl in the ICU at Heart Hospital a few months back.  He was a good friend to many of my family members. He told wonderful stories about times spent with my grandfather and he showed great concern for my family even at a time when he himself was so sick.  It was an honor to be able to care for him and to get to know how giving a man he was. I know that he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.    Amy Banda

Mr. Earl was a wonderful storyteller. He would share stories of his life growing up in East Austin and all of the changes he'd seen. I think we may have heard some of the stories more than once, but that was ok. We could listen to him for hours.     He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, and I think he did once or twice. We'll miss him a lot. Goodbye Earl!
