

She lived every moment of her life with unbounded energy. Her main goal was always working, loving, teaching and supporting in any way everyone who knew her. Simply put, Earlene will have a long-lasting impact on everyone who knew her. Her warmth, beauty and friendship were the essence of who she was and a blessing to all. She touched scores of lives in so many special ways. She truly lived the life she loved and loved the life she lived. Her ongoing philosophy was "Stay close to God, talk to him and keep on keeping on".
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Crown, son Michael Gillespie (Maggie) and grandchildren; Meredith Gillespie Plesko (David), Shannon Gillespie Hanna (Thad), Andrew Crown (Staci), Cassidy Crown Confer (Matt), two step-grandchildren Brady Moore (Jamie and daughter) and Amanda Oelrich (Craig and children) and three and 3/4 great-grandchildren; Ainsley, Jake, Eli and "Keaton".
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 17th, at Tarrytown Methodist Church. Earlene requests please no flowers but you may share with Tarrytown Methodist Church, Edna Gladney Foundation in Fort Worth or your own personal preference.
