Lainey was born to Michael and Lisa Grimm on October 12, 1998. From a young age, she had a deep devotion to her family, music, and country.
Lainey spent her time learning new things and expanding her knowledge of computers and how they work. She also enjoyed reading, writing and most of all sharing her new findings with others. Lainey had a deep appreciation for the Japanese culture including their cuisine and art forms. She also enjoyed cooking Mexican food and loved trying out local seafood and steak.
Through her walk of life, Lainey learned to always be prepared for the unexpected, which is why she kept up to date with the latest national and international news. She also accomplished several instruments like the piano, violin, and cello. She also played the drums and guitar. For eleven years, Lainey sent Girl Scout Cookies to our troops overseas to remind them of home.
Lainey loved to bask under the sun while listening to the waves of the ocean. While there she liked to collect seashells, swim, and even read a good book as the sun went down.
Lainey is survived by her parents, Michael and Lisa Grimm, as well as brothers Michael and Eli. She was a light to many and all will miss her.
A visitation for Lainey will be held Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, Texas 78749, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM.
