

Esperanza Campos, age 61, retired from the Texas Education Agency, passed away peacefully at home. Espie (Hope) Campos was born in Hutto, Texas and was a lifelong Austin resident. Hope was an active member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church and spent her time making the church beautiful as a principal member of the Arts and Environment Committee. Hope was an untiring servant of God who was generous with her time, talent and treasure.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Isabel Campos, her sister Isabel, brother Roman and sister-in-law Mary Alice Campos. She will be dearly missed by her family: Jesse Campos and Luisa Lerma (husband Rudy) of Hutto, Julio Campos (wife Elizabeth) of Round Rock, Delia Villarreal (husband Edward) and Juan Campos of Austin. She will also be missed by her nephew Chris Campos of Austin, niece Clarissa Campos of Round Rock, nephew Christopher Lerma of Fort Riley, Kansas, niece Laura Lerma of Hutto, great niece Cecelyn, great nephew Ronin, and other family and friends.
A Rosary will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish North. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. Burial will be at Santa Maria Cemetery in Hutto.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Hope Campos to St. Albert the Great Catholic Church Arts and Environment fund.
