Eva R. Tristan

Our beloved mother, Eva R. Tristan of Creedmoor, Texas was called by our heavenly Father on Sunday, March 21, 2021. She was born on November 6, 1945 to Pablo and Manuela Rodela in Crystal City, Texas.

She was a devoted mother, grandma, great-grandma and friend. She loved cooking, sewing but most of all baking. She welcomed everyone with a smile and love.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Manuela Rodela; her sister, Connie Lozano; her brother, Cipriano Rodela; and her husband, Alexander S. Tristan.

Eva is survived by her five children, Cynthia Tristan, Janie Tristan, Alex Tristan Jr., Jennifer Tristan, Leslie Tristan; grandchildren, Stephanie Aleman, Emily Hernandez, Meadow Hernandez, Aaron Tristan, Maddison Tristan, Alexandria Tristan, Tristan Gutierrez, Donovan Robinson; great-grandson, Steven Espinosa.

Honoring Eva and serving as Pallbearers will be Aaron J. Tristan, Jennifer Tristan, Joshua Gutierrez, Steven Aleman, Rick Hernandez, Michael Rodela, Joe E. Tristan and Pablo Rodela. Honorary Pallbearers Tristan Gutierrez, Donovan Robinson.

Visitation 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, March 26, 2021 at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery, Mendoza, Texas.
