He was our shinning pride, he brought love, light and logic to everyone he knew. He was a lover, not a fighter, and a peace maker. He did not have a mean bone in his body and tried to make everyone happy. All he wanted was to be accepted. He was the kindest most loving person any of us will ever know. Never will a son be born that was more loved or as special or unique as Forrest was.
He was to graduate next month from McCallum High School, and had such a bright future. He was a gifted artist and a champion gamer. His dream was to work for Nintendo. We always knew he would do great things, if he could have held on a little while longer, but his pain inside was just too great. If any of us would have known we would have fixed it. But he was so sweet and didn’t want to upset us.
He was an angel on earth and now in heaven. We thank God for giving him to us, at least for 18 years. He will never be in pain or be sad again. Save a place for us in heaven. We will see you soon, and we can laugh, and joke again. Our love transcends throughout all of time. We don’t know why you did this. We are not mad at you, we are mad at us for not knowing how you were suffering. We want to be with you and kiss that beautiful soft face again. We don’t want to live without you. The light to our souls went out now, forever. There are no words invented yet to describe this emptiness and pain we feel. This is not fair and we all want you back.
Your family, Mama, Poppy, Sicily, Jackson, Grandma, Ronnie and Darrin and the Petersen family.
All your friends are suffering too, Aden, DJ, Alex, Julian, Forrest, Juliet and Ben. Thank you all for being such great friends to him. He loved you guys!!
A memorial service will be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 13th of April, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.
