
When I was younger I was very lucky to spend time living with Mamaw and Papaw. Her words were always kind and soothing. I remember when I had UD, she could never understand how I could let that duck sleep in my bed. But, she never told me no. She was an amazing cook and most of the times all sittings were a 6 course meal. In Mississippi, her and I would sit and cross stitch for hours. As I sit her with tears for letting so much time go by without checking in, I can smell oil of olay. I can actually hear mamaw telling me to always rub lotion on my elbows and for a moment I remember the softness of her skin. In these moments we all have to realize how precious time really is and never let it get away from us.  I love you Mamaw!     Lynn if you happen upon this please call me 512-773-9577



To those who come here to pay tribute to Mom, you are here because you know how special she is! Our lives will never be the same without her here to talk to, and Hug, and share our daily thoughts and events. I have an Enormous hole in my heart that can never be filled. I miss Mom so much every minute of every day. She is all I can think about. The last months that she was here with me taught me so much about her, and myself. I learned things about her I never knew. She was without a doubt the greatest Mom there could ever be. I am glad each of you were a part of her ife and can help us keep her memories alive in us. Now we have to take care of each other and continue to share our memories of her. And make sure our little ones remember her too, she loved them all so much. Hi Lynn, Bobby, Jimmy, Wayne    We are so sorry to hear about Polly's passing. We were just remembering her the other day on our way to San Antonio. Your Mom & Dad were such a joy for us to be around. We became very close to both your Mom & Dad when we lived in Harker Heights. Her cooking and her stories were always very special to me and Ronnie. Dear Lynn, Debbie, Bobby, Jimmy, and Wayne,    We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Polly's passing.  We will remember her with fond memories and love. It was so great getting to know Aunt Polly in recent years.  She was such a special person: sweet, kind, and generous.  Mom held a very special place in her heart for Aunt Polly.  One thing I found endearing about Aunt Polly was the way her eyes lit up when she would on occasion flash that mischievousness grin. The two had a very special bond.  I remember Mom telling childhood stories about she and Aunt Polly.  One day they were having a special family event and each prepared something for the day.  Aunt Polly made a pie and Mom made potato salad. They were in competition to make sure their own dish was in the pie safe because there was no refrigerator and only one spot was left.  They switched out each other food dish and this back and forth went on for some time.  Granny got wind of their shenanigans and quickly put an end to it. And that was that.  Apparently the two were quite a pair. I have a special memory of one year in particular when Uncle Frank had invented a new board game and sent us one, what a talented man.  On another occasion he made a special copper-leaf floral picture for Mom that she displayed in her home with pride.  Mom was so happy to receive the beautiful crafts that Aunt Polly lovingly made for her including a number of needle point items. Lynn and Aunt Polly came to Jackson to visit Mom and I.  They were so happy to be together again. We all enjoyed the wonderful visit, especially Mom and Aunt Polly.   Before leaving Aunt Polly gave me a special gift of beautiful pink place mats with a pearl border.  I will always treasure them.  It means more than words can say that Aunt Polly flew alone to Jackson to be with Mom during her  final days.  Aunt Polly was of great comfort to her.  She had made a pair of beautiful blue pillows with creme lace as a gift to Mom.  Aunt Polly was always at her bedside.  She lovingly talked to mom, held her hand, read to her and even fed her at times. Please know that Aunt Polly and each one of you and your families have been and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.  Aunt Polly had such a strong love for Uncle Frank, so much so that she had an empty space in her heart.  After waiting so long she is now at peace in heaven, reunited with the love of her life.  Perhaps each of you will find comfort in that.  Aunt Polly will be sorely missed.  We will remember her always with fond memories and love.  Ken, Kyle, and I send our deepest sympathy and hope that each of you will come to find strength and comfort during this most difficult time.



We are so sorry for your loss, I remember when I found out Polly went to the same hair dresser as my Mother. I worked with Lynn and she is like a sister to me. Polly and my Mother Juanita were good friends and had been exchanging Christmas presents. It's a small world we live in, now Juanita and Polly can once again be together in heaven.
