Frank is survived by his wife, Patricia Lorraine Deroo; his children, Vanessa Marie Deroo, Zachary Jon Deroo, Brian Deroo and Shawna Lowdermilk; his grandchildren, Isabella Rose Deroo, Sophia Marie Davidson, Skylah Rose Deroo and Arialla Everly Deroo.
Frank was born on June 8, 1952 to Charlotte Bernedine and Harry Peter Deroo in Superior, Wisconsin. Shortly before his teen years he moved to the state of California, the place where he would meet the Love of his life, Patricia Lorriane Garcia. After meeting, Patsy they made the best decision ever to move to the great state of Texas where he would live out the greater years and remainder of his life.
Frank was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family more than anything. He enjoyed riding jet skis, camping and late night barbeques, and all doing so with his family. Frank worked excessively but no matter what time he or his wife Patsy got off work the barbeques was lit, meat was being cooked and the long day at work was long left behind.
Frank took pride in his work and rightfully so. He loved what he did for a livin’, a “A Commercial Construction Superintendent.” Frank was responsible for overseeing projects such as 10th & Congress, the GSDSM building and breaking ground and completion of phase 1 & 2 of the San Marcos outlet mall. Frank’s projects didn’t end there, he also had a small side business of his own staining and scoring concrete. Bottom line, everything Frank touched turned to gold, his craftsmanship was impeccable. Any man that knew Frank could tell you he took his work very serious and he got the job done.
At the end of the day his family “unit” was the most important project he had. This is what he took pride in the most. He was going to give them everything he didn’t have and more….much more. Frank will forever be loved and never forgotten for his craftsmanship both as superintendent and a devoted father.
