He was a loving and devoted son, brother, friend, uncle to his nieces and nephews and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
Freddie began playing the bass guitar at an early age, practicing day and night for hours on end. Throughout the years he rose through the ranks to gain recognition, widespread respect and admiration for his musical instrumental talent. He has had the opportunity to play in several different bands throughout his lifetime. He also wrote his own original songs. His Bass Guitar was his “Love,” and every note he played provided him with a pathway to self-expression. Freddie had an unwavering commitment to excellence in his talent. His legacy of music will be remembered for years to come.
Preceding him in death is his father, Freddie Lee Marshall, Sr.
