She passed away on September 8, 2014 in Austin, Texas. She was a very strong and independent woman that was loved by many. She had a long life of 88 years and felt it was time to relax.
Gladys was married to George V. Lewis, Jr and had two sons, Geoffrey Lewis and Lansing Keith Lewis. She is predeceased by her husband, George Lewis and her son Geoffrey Lewis. Surviving relatives include her brother, Glenn and Laverne Wallace of Smithville, Texas; son, Lansing Keith Lewis of Austin, Texas; and granddaughter Georgia Lewis-Jackson of Sealy, Texas.
Graveside services will be this Saturday, September 13th at 10:00 a.m. at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery in Austin, Texas.
