Born February 13, 1913 to Louis and Louise Lorenz in Valley Mills. Passed away January 1, 2006 in Menard, Texas. She is survived by her granddaughter Robin J. Bohls, daughter-in-law Jane R. Bohls of Rochelle, Texas. A sister Louise Lorenz Huntsman of Corpus Christi and sister-in-law Mildred Bohls Kuhn of Austin. Nieces, Louann Huntsman of Corpus Christi, Lynette Wedig of Cloudcroft, N.M., Janice Kuhn Wieland of Austin and Kathy Sue Lorenz. Nephew Larry Lorenz of San Marcos. Numerous great nieces and nephews who she loved. Preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Raymond W. Bohls, Sr. and her son Raymond W. Bohls, Jr. Hattie is known for her independence, spirit in direction for life and love for her family. She will be remembered for her sharp wit, wicked sense of humor, her loyalty and commitment to her family. We love you and know you are full of joy and peace because you are with Big Raymond (Uncle Raymond) and Dad (Raymond Jr.). A visitation will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2006. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2005 at Austin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial to the Capital Area Food Bank is requested.
