Henry was born July 17, 1924 in Austin, TX. He enlisted in the Navy during WW2 and served on the USS Ashland in the South Pacific under Admiral Nimitz.
Survivors include his son, Danny Franklin and wife Denise Franklin; daughter, June Pelat; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 12, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress Ave. Services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11 am at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
