Our dad had a love for music at a very young age. He enjoyed listening to music and singing. His love of music included, conjunto, mariachi, tejano, country, and he also played in a band for many years.
Dad dedicated his life to Christ many years ago. His Christian faith was strong. His efforts to do God's work in our community were many; his volunteer work included being active in missionary work with his church; traveling to parts of Mexico to take food and clothing to poor families there; feeding the homeless here in different soup kitchens. Our dad had a kind and compassionate spirit. He was known for his sense of humor that he shared. That smile you gave to all you met, your jokes; you gave yourself in love and joy, but most important, you gave your faith in Jesus, in word, deed, example and action; with your family and your friends.
As some people journey through life, they leave footprints wherever they go footprints of
kindness and love, courage and compassion, humor and inspiration, joy and truth and most of all FAITH!
Even when they are gone, we can still look back and clearly see the trail they left behind-a trail bright with hope that invites us to follow! This was you dad!
