Ima Gene Howse Bennett, 84, passed away on November 17, 2014 in Austin, Texas. She was a member of the Crestview Baptist Church and retired from the Texas State Comptroller’s Office.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ellege, brothers, Charles & George Howse. She is survived by two children, David Bennett and Darrell Bennett (Valli), two grandchildren, Danisa Scott and Ryan Bennett, four great-grandchildren, Hunter Holmes, Rowdy Holmes, Harley Bennett and Gus Bennett.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 20th at 2:00p.m. with visitation from 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m., prior to service, at Cook-Walden North Lamar, with burial to follow.
