

Irving Wallerstein, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, in Austin, Texas, at the age of 95. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan, with whom he shared over 70 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.
Irving was a devoted father to Rhonna, Joel, and Evan, a proud grandfather to six, and a loving great-grandfather to five. Family was at the heart of everything he did, and he treasured every moment spent with his loved ones.
A lifelong adventurer, Irving and Joan had a deep love for travel, exploring new places together and creating memories that their family will hold dear forever. Summers were especially sacred to him, as he found peace and joy in Southern California, escaping the Texas heat and cherishing time with family by the coast.
An accomplished athlete, Irving excelled in both tennis and track, his competitive spirit and dedication even leading him to qualify for the Senior Olympics. His passion for sports was not only a testament to his skill but also to his determination and zest for life.
Irving’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and a life well-lived. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
