23 years. Even across the miles you were always a true friend. My heart is shattered. RIP Izzy. You were bigger than life. Hope your riding on those streets of gold. You were a huge part of my journey in this life...till we meet again.

I am so sorry for your loss. Israel was a kind and considerate person, always looking out for the needs of others. Truly he was the embodiment of ‘Protect and Serve’. I knew Israel from back in Yorktown days and he was always so nice to me. He will be missed.

Michelle- my heart goes out to you during this  difficult time. I just read that Israel has passed and I want to extend my condolences to you and the rest of his family.  I never met him but I know you will miss him immensely. May God provide you with all you need and grant you peace.

God bless Israel's wife and kids and family.  I grew up around him and new him well. Never have I heard an unkind word spoke of him and even moreover have I heard him say one of another person. That speaks volumes of his character. The only thing bigger than his stature was his heart. God gave him to us and now he called him home. God bless him he's with many now who loved him. My father is one, his God father.

NBL4YA Israel.

I will never forget the day in Chorpus Christie at my Aunt Hopes house when my superhero brother Isreal jumped into action and saved my life when I started choking on a piece of hard candy.  He was such an awesome big brother, so sweet,thoughtful and loving. I will also never forget when Isreal surprised me on my wedding day driving with his family all the way from TX to FL and the advice he would give me when we called to check in on eachother. I loved hearing his gentle, heart warming voice. It was like a nice big comforting hug across the miles. The last day we spoke was April 14th,if I had known that that was the last day we would ever talk I would have said so much more. I'm sure everyone that was lucky enough to know him feels the same about their last conversation. My heart goes out to Michelle and all of his other family and dear friends. He definitely left us too soon but Im sure God has a reason for this. Thank you to everyone for being there for Michelle and all your prayers for the family. I know he has his wings now and he will be watching over all of us.  I love you big brother, you were the best. Love, Kris

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family of Isreal Garcia. He always seemed to have a smile and enthusiasm for life. His Uncle Clem gave him a nickname “Ezee” when Isreal was a toddler.   The last time we saw him was at his father’s funeral service in Julesburg Co. We all were very impressed by his warm personality. May God surround and protect Isreal and grant him peace in His Kingdom.  May God’s Grace surround all of you that were touched by Isreal’s life and give you peace.

Dear Izzy,
What to say? I am still in total shock over your passing. I remember all the laughs, conversations and smiles we had. You were such a good friend. I remember talking retirement before I retired, you talking and gushing about your first born grandson as well as that you were getting married. You will and are definitely missed by many.  Your smile will live on forever. Fly High my Friend.

We have been blessed to be neighbors with Israel and Michelle. Since moving in, Israel has always been so kind, helpful, and always offering a hand. We will miss his friendly wave as he would take off on his motorcycle. He just recently helped spray a wasps next that had been built above our door…that’s just who he was…always offering to help. Shane and I often talk about how lucky we are to have such wonderful neighbors. Michelle and the family are in our prayers and we are here to help in any way we can. Rest in peace, Israel.

Israel was my neighbor for the past six years. He was one of the nicest, most genuine men I have ever met. He never hesitated to lend a hand or ask how I was doing. The last time I saw him he was leaving for work on his bike and I remember feeling very proud just to live next to him. I feel very blessed to have known such a wonderful man.

It is with profound sadness that I send my prayers and sincere sympathy to all of Israel’s family and friends. I remember him as a model student and well-mannered young man here in Yorktown High School.  Treasure all your precious memories as you recall his life well- lived. May God  hold each of you in His hands, and heal your pain, sadness, and sorrow in the days ahead. With my thoughts and prayers….
