

John Phillip Cornejo, 24, died December 19, 2009. He was born February 15, 1985 in Austin TX to Phillip and Frances Cornejo. He graduated in 2004 from Cedar Park High School and played on the Cedar Park Timberwolves baseball, football and track teams. He was an Assistant Property Manager for Field Asset Services, Inc. J.P. was loved by everyone he encountered. An avid lover of music, sports and gatherings of family and friends, he touched many hearts. John Phillip had a beautiful spirit that many people admired and were inspired to look at the world through his eyes. He had a wonderful heart and charismatic personality that drew people to him. He will be best remembered by his friends as the friend that could always be depended on and would always be there in their times of need. Although he left this world before his time, his presence has changed the lives that surrounded him and will not be forgotten.John is survived by his parents, Phillip and Frances Cornejo; his brother Phillip Cornejo, and sister Mary Ann Gonzalez. He also leaves his nieces and nephews: Ronald Cornejo, Lauren, Lyndsey and Ryan Gonzalez. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, cousins and countless friends. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Cook Walden Chapel of the Hills, 9700 Anderson Mill Rd. Austin TX, 78570. Visitation will be held Tuesday December 22, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at Cook Walden Chapel of the Hills at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian burial will be held Wednesday December 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Cook Walden Capital Park Cemetery.
