Jacob Lewis Kimbro, on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, left all those who so greatly loved him, to be forever in the arms of Jesus. We will miss him every day until we see him again in glory and our family is whole again.
Jacob was a gift from God that we were so thankful to have with us for too short of a time. He had a heart for others and always tried to meet their needs before his own. He loved the elderly, people with special needs, his family, and his pets. He especially loved the Lord.
Jacob was preceded in death by his Papa, Roy Kimbro. He will be sadly missed by his parents, Mike and Nancy Kimbro; brother, Micah Kimbro and wife, Roxanne; sister, Hannah Kimbro Mouton and husband, Ian; nephews, Sebastian and Lucas; maternal grandparents, Dan and Betty Kincy; paternal grandmother, Barbara Kimbro and Jim Grey; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from Noon until 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Oak Hill Bible Church, 6117 W. Hwy. 290. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at OHYSA Pinto Field with Pastor Steve Armstrong officiating.
For those desiring, contributions may be made in Jacob’s memory to www.stompoutbullying.org.
Honoring Jacob as pallbearers will be Micah Kimbro, Ian Mouton, Roy Kimbro, Tim Kimbro, Bill Bonny, Bill Almquist, and Mark Kochan.
The family encourages all those who attend to please bring your lawn chairs.
As we selfishly grieve the loss of our precious Jacob, we also celebrate with him that he is now in the arms of Jesus. As we read in Isaiah 57:1-2, "Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die."
