

Jim passed away at the age of 83. He was born on January 21st, 1941 in St. Louis, MO, the only son of four children.
After serving in the United States Army and being stationed in Germany, he graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He later obtained a Master of Science (Engineering) from The University of Texas at El Paso in 1981.
He was licensed as a professional engineer and worked for the State of Texas for over twenty-five years.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Crocker (spouse, Patrick Turner), and son Michael Crocker (partner, Nicole Foree) as well as his sisters Mary Adams, Carol Gary, and Bonnie Morris.

Harriet passed away at the age of 84. She was born on January 1, 1940 in Houston, TX. She grew up in Austin, TX as the elder sister to two younger brothers.
Harriet graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She later obtained a Master of Education from The University of Texas at Austin in 1969.
She was a beloved first-grade bilingual education teacher, serving students in Midland and El Paso, Texas before marrying in 1972.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Crocker (spouse, Patrick Turner) and son Michael Crocker (partner, Nicole Foree) as well as her brothers Don McMeans and Eddie McMeans.
Jim and Harriet were married on November 24, 1972. They celebrated 51 years of marriage before their deaths.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life held on August 17, 2024, at 10:00 am at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX.
