James Gilbert McCrummen (Jim) was born on October 1, 1958, in Austin, Texas and passed away on October 23, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. Jim was a lifelong Austin resident with roots going back five generations in Austin.
He is preceded in death by his parents Tom and Marian McCrummen and Brother Tommy McCrummen. He is survived by his sister Claire McCrummen. He is also survived by his canine companion Rusty.
Jim attended Texas A&M University and returned to Austin to work in the construction field.
Jim will be remembered as a devout Aggie and avid outdoorsman and, of course, a father to many Corgi dogs.
We would like to thank the Williamsburg area neighborhood in Austin for being such a wonderful friend to Jim during his time of decline.
Services for Jim will be held at Hornsby Bend Cemetery on November 3, 2022, at 1:00 pm. Donations to honor Jim may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
