Born in Giddings, TX on August 15, 1958 to Joyce (Johnson) and Lenard Moses, Sr.; he shared his birthdate with our beloved grandmother, Gertrude Edwards Johnson and cousin, Cynthia Mixon-Pederson.
James was very loving and caring of his family and friends. We have many fond memories of his quiet demeanor coupled with his amazing sense of humor. His passions included fishing, hunting, and BBQ parties with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents; sister, Carol Moses-Burney; and brother, Lenard Moses, Jr.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Megan Moses; granddaughter, Analeigh Tamara Moses-DeLeon of Austin (formerly of Silver Spring, MD); sisters, Sharon Jackson (Patrick) of Austin, TX and Trudie Sandberg (Alan) of Victoria TX; brother, Paul Moses (Kathy) of Placedo, TX; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
